The Pulmonary Research Group (PRG) is a non-profit organization which was formed in the 1960's and now serves the research and medical community by organizing scientific meetings on topics relating to pulmonary disease.

The overall goal of the PRG is the open dissemination and discussion of research in the pulmonary area, in particular novel therapeutic strategies and compounds for the treatment of pulmonary disorders.  Its major task towards this aim is the regular organization, often in collaboration with other scientific associations, of scientific meetings on relevant topics.  Most events are held in the Northeastern United States.

Membership is open to anyone, including researchers and clinicians, from academia, hospitals, research institutes and the pharmaceutical industry, who has an interest in pulmonary research.

We are now listed as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of Internal Revenue code. Contributions to our organization are tax deductible under section 170 of the IRS code. Such contributions can include tax deductible bequests, devices, transfers or gifts under sections 2055, 2106, or 2522 of IRS code. Our Employer Identification number is 20-5905133.
